Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) owns approximately 212,000 acres of land on Alaska's North Slope. The purpose of our land department is to guide the company in the management of our land and resources with the guidance of our Board of Directors. The land department will manage these lands in accordance with the traditions and values of the Iñupiat people. We are committed to the protection and preservation of our lands for the future generations of the Iñupiat people.
